NAPD Survey for parents and Students

02-June-20

The NAPD asked the school to make this survey available to parents. The information about the survey is below;

The Coronavirus pandemic has disrupted the play world(s), friendship groups and potentially the well being of every teenager in the country. Playgrounds, schools and sports clubs are closed, after school activities are cancelled and teenagers cannot meet and hang out with their friends as they used to. These are hugely significant changes in the day to day lives and routines of Irish teenagers. In addition, we have no understanding of any ideas, strategies and solutions teenagers and their parents came up with, where possible, to overcome these difficulties.

To access the views, experiences and opinions of teenagers and their parents we have developed an online survey questionnaire on this issue and I would be very grateful if you could consider promoting the survey on your organisations webpage, Facebook / Twitter account or forward on the link to any of your relevant email lists. The survey runs from 8am Tuesday 26th May until midnight on Tuesday 2nd June if you would like to take part. The link is;
