CCS BOI School Bank for Students

The School Bank opened for the first time last Tuesday in the school canteen. After a day of interviews by Bank of Ireland 6 Transition Year students were picked to run the school bank for the remainder of the school year. The team consists of George Downer (Bank Manager), Evan Rowe (Marketing), Lea Brennan (Sales), Barry Butler (Operations and Audit), Dean Byrne (Digital Manager) and Nadine Clarke (Digital Manager). The bank will open every Tuesday at lunch time in the canteen where students can open a Bank of Ireland current account and lodge money. They will also be issued with an ATM or debit card. The bank team are supported by Ms. Avril Lambert (Bank of Ireland Youth Coordinator) to ensure the smooth running of the bank.

The 6th year physics students got to experience college life this January, enjoying a day out at NUI Maynooth's Lab Day.
On December 11th the fifth year art classes and their two teachers visited five different galleries and museums on their Art Tour of Dublin.
