When implemented correctly, Student Voice and Participation is a powerful way for students to have their say in the way their school is run and to take an active role in their educational experience. Student voice has the potential to provide a platform for students to voice their opinions and make meaningful contributions to school policies and decisions.

This year as part of student voice we have created a Student Leadership Team who have pledged to reflect on the school’s current approach to homework through the gathering and analysis of data from students, teachers and parents. This group is made up of a diverse range of students who aim to implement an initiative to improve one aspect of homework. Ultimately, student voice and participation is a valuable tool for promoting student engagement, enhancing their learning environment and creating a more inclusive and supportive school culture.
