The U17 Girls took on John Scottus in their league campaign on Tuesday 12th December. Kaylyn Corcoran got us off to a great start when she drove one home in the opening two minutes. This only spurred the girls on as 20 minutes later we were 10-0 up with goals from Kaylyn (6), Ava Thornton (3), and Lara Thornton (1). The girls continued to dominate on all areas of the pitch for the remainder of the game with Abbey Golden being denied by the framework four times and Amy Molloy Byrne putting in great tackles to keep a clean sheet. Ava returned to the scoresheet once more and Alycia Redmond also found the net to end the game on a 12-0 scoreline. This result puts Cabinteely CS at the top of the group where they will now progress to the Division 1 knockout stages.
